When I was a girl, my mom taught me that less is more in the make-up department. I just think she didn't want me ho-ing it up in high school, but she was right. I truly believe the less is more analogy. I like to see God given beauty shining through. Not that I have it, but I'm just sayin' I'm all for the more "all natural" look. Having said that, there are a few beauty products that I can't live without.
1. Nivea lotion. I have really dry skin and this smells nice, too.
2. Lip gloss. I hate lipstick, but I'll carry a tinted lip gloss in my bag or pocket.
3. Black Mascara - No particular brand (I like Mary Kay) but it has to be waterproof. A girl never knows when she is going to cry...
What are your can't leave the house without beauty products?
That's funny. I hate lipgloss but love lipstick. Lip gloss is too sticky for me.
ReplyDeleteI am not a lipstick girl either. I like lip stain. It's last's all day but it's light like lip gloss.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm ... I wish wish WISH that I could go natural all the time. Unfortunately, I am very pale and everything blends in if I don't wear make up. Probably some sort of foundation to help even out my skin tone. :P And then lipstick, so that my lips don't blend in with my skin. Mascara really helps, too. And I love my lotion. It's something from cost-co. Fantastic. I guess no matter what I wear that. :)
