My Sneaks

These are my running shoes. I've had them a long time. They are probably too old to still be running in. We've seen many miles together. They are comfortable, worn and fit me perfectly. Newer isn't always better! Wait, I really am talking about my shoes and not my sweet husband, KT. Okay, I love running. I'm not really a runner but a plodder because I'm not very fast. I'm not a marathon runner. I can squeak out 10-15 miles a week. I love running because I don't have to compete with anyone (unless I run a race). I am only out to better myself. I love the feeling of my feet hitting the pavement or the treadmill. I love the sweat dripping because I know I am exerting myself. I love how refreshed and awesome I feel when its done. I love the feeling of strength that comes from your core as you push yourself beyond that brick wall. Did I mention that I LOVE running? Three reasons why I don't have a runner's body: Cheez-its, chocolate, coke Here are some songs currently on my playlist that have a really motivating beat: Miss Independent - Kelly Clarkson Last Name - Carry Underwood Sweet Home Alabama - Lynrd Skynrd Beat of My Heart - Hilary Duff All Summer Long - Kid Rock Falt on the Floor - Carrie Underwood Our Song - Taylor Swift Red High Heels - Kellie Pickler Put a Girl In It - Brooks & Dunn You get the idea, what's on your playlist?

  1. So glad you found my blog now I can look for your new posts every week. How are you! I know I am a terrible friend, but I'm serious when I say that I think about you guys at least weekly and wonder how you are. It is probably good that I don't have phone #s because my long distance bill would be awful calling you all the time.:) Hey, come see us next time your in Utah, I haven't seen your kids since they were small!

  2. I thought I had saved you to my side bar, but it wasn't there. Now I've fixed it so I can officially stalk your cute blog.

On the subject of running. I'm jealous!!! I wish I liked it. i wish I had the ambition to do it. When I run I feel like my body is completely out of joint. It is not a natural feeling for me.

I'm going to try though. You've helped to motivate me!

  3. Hey, Angie, give it a try. I must say it is an acquired taste. I hated it when I first started. I couldn't even run 30 seconds without stopping. I am very UN athletic. But, I had read it was the quickest way to find your abs....still looking.
