The red and yellow hues spice my life like the savory flavors of cayenne and ginger. They make an interesting combination and my eyes are drawn to those colors. Yellow is happy and red pops. Over the years my taste in colors has evolved. I don't imagine I will be forever in this color scheme, but for now it brings happiness and sunshine to my soul. Especially on these cold winter days...
I am with you on both colors!!! My kitchen is a soft yellow and my dining room is a deep dark red. I love the point where the walls from each room meet and the two colors touch!

ReplyDeleteI have these colors in my kitchen. Of course, the red is covering the purple from the previous owners, and I've been in the house almost three years now. I'm slow, what can I say? But the two colors are awesome and just make me want to smile when it's cold outside! :)

Yellow is my favorite color, and red with it looks great. I love taking photographs. Yours are just lovely.
