Low-fat Living 6
I love a good smoothie. When made right, they are low cal and can be quite filling. I like to buy frozen bags of fruit. I've found some good fruit blends at Sams Club and Walmart. One cup fruit 3/4 cup cold water or less protein powder Blend in blender for a healthy meal replacement. The protein will help keep you full longer. Enjoy!

I don't even own a blender! I should probably get one.
ReplyDeleteI'm gratified to see that you don't add sugar to your smoothies. Everyone else I know loads up on the sugar, but then what's the point? You might as well enjoy a Snickers instead.
ReplyDeleteSounds good. Where do you get your protein powder? Is one better than another? Also, how fattening is protein powder? I am very curious because I need to do something!
ReplyDeleteSounds delicious!--I could go for one right now!
ReplyDeleteI have the same questions as Stoner...
I think you would LOVE a $400 Blendtec!! Best purchase in years!
ReplyDeleteThat looks really good right now.
ReplyDeleteWe love smoothies over here. We use yogurt and they probably get some sugar from that but it is mostly just fruit! I could eat one every day. We need a new blender. We are really hard on our blenders. They don't seem to much be made for making smoothies. We intend to buy a vitamix someday. :)
