Organizing
I hate being disorganized. But, I sometimes can't seem to control the chaos that tends to take over. My computer hutch is truly a "Hot Spot" in our house and a constant battle. Remember when I reorganized my pantry with these baskets? I love them! I bought extra to redo my computer space.
Before and very revealing...
After feels so much better!

Tales from OZ
On this day in history, June 6 in the year of our Lord 2011, let it be known that I am a risk taker because I stared a tornado warning in the face and won.
Let's rewind a few days, back track. Miguel drove home from Ladybug's last softball game on a Friday upset because the bumper on his car was falling off due, or course, to his previous car accident. Due to his distractedness we realized Sunday morning that he had left not only the car unlocked but the keys in the ignition in the on position. Might as well flash neon lights:
FREE CAR!
KT jumped the dead car and all was good.
Miguel left Sunday morning for a "Senior Trip" to SLC . We had him drive our newer car because it is more road worthy. The plan was KT would drive my bug to work and I would drive saggy bumper 2 miles to my work. Monday morning I go to start beater car and all I get is click, click, click. It is dead again. D-E-A-D, dead. No time to call for a ride or a jump lest I be late for work so I jump on my bicycle and book it to work.
Gradually the skies grow dark and heavy as the day progresses. I keep checking the sky and my work load. I finally decide to brave the impending storm and pedal as fast as I can. When I arrive home I learn there had been a tornado warning, and that is the day I looked a tornado warning in the face and won.

Travel Diaries #3
Remember when I told you about our little suitcase fiasco? Well, upon leaving the hotel. KT left me with all the bags at the front desk of the hotel to check out while he went to get the car. If you haven't noticed already, I am a little sassy. I can be a stinker sometimes. Shocker! Right? Well, check out truly only took a few seconds. I looked at my bags and his suit case, and I proceeded to leave it right there in the lobby. Payback, baby, payback...I wonder if he ever regrets marrying me and all my sass. Just sayin'

Fathers
I honored my dad last year for Father's Day on this post. I really should do it again, but What more can I say, He rocks!
Perhaps I should pay homage to the father of my children, KT. But, then, nahhhhh...There are no words to express.
Perhaps I should pay homage to the father of my children, KT. But, then, nahhhhh...There are no words to express.
"Let us reflect gratitude for our fathers.
"Father . . . is ever willing to sacrifice his own comfort for that of his children. Daily he toils to provide the necessities of life, never complaining, ever concerned for the well-being of his family. This love for children, this desire to see them well and happy, is a constant in a time of change." ~Thomas S. Monson~

Travel Diaries #2
I have a love/hate relationship with technology. First of all, I am completely inept. I did post once about it here. I am the navigator on trips. It is the job that falls on the person sitting in the passenger side of the vehicle. No one else is brave enough to take that seat. It's true. I'm the only one. So, back in the day when we would travel, I would have a map spread out across my lap dictating to KT every turn we should make. I didn't do a bad job, if I do say so myself. I got us all the way across the country twice without getting us lost. Yeah, I'm good...KT's biggest pet peeve, though, was if I held the map up for other drivers to see. It would upset him. He didn't want people to know we were "tourists, visitors, IDIOTS". Have you ever tried to hold a large map down low on your lap in a car. Yeah not easy...
You can imagine my pleasure with the thought of using a GPS for more recent trips, but alas, said navigator is technologically inept. I'm sure KT won't argue with that. So first, I have to figure out how to turn on the GPS in the multipurpose handy dandy iPhone. If I happened to accomplish that difficult feat, then I have to repeat word for word, mind you, what the navigator lady says. Like he can't hear it! Then, he wants to know what's coming next. Well, sometimes GPS lady doesn't give too much notice. Not much more than "Turn right in 200 feet", by that time, sometimes we've missed the turn.
What's even better is when GPS loses the signal and I have to hold the unit up to the window trying to get a stronger signal. Searching the sky with my eyes like I can visually find it. What happened to not showing anyone the map so they don't know we are a tourist?
