As I sit in the warmth and comfort of my home, I am so grateful, today and everyday, because it is enough. I am truly blessed. Watching videos like the one below reminds me of the greed that is so prevalent in our society these days. I'm not saying that shopping is bad, but look how these people treat each other to save $10, $15, $20 bucks. No thank you, today is a "White Friday" for me, the opposite of "Black Friday". Today I will be at home with my family enjoying each other's company and Thanksgiving leftovers. May you be safe in your Black Friday endeavors.

Yet another reason I'm glad I skipped black Friday. I tried it one year after returning the States, that one year cured me for life. I don't need anything that badly. :)
ReplyDeleteNever. Ever. Not worth it.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree and that video is just horrible, to see humans treating each other that way over a product is very sad.
ReplyDeleteOh and I am visiting from SITS sharefest :)
ReplyDeleteI also love Cyber Monday because I don't have to be in the middle of that madness. It is crazy what our society has become over all of these deals. Honestly, they are not much better than Cyber Monday deals.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to enjoy your "White Friday." From SITS sharefest. :)
I love that meme--so true! I have never been brave enough for Black Friday.
ReplyDeleteI've never been a black Friday shopper. It is not worth the savings.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteVisiting from SITS (I know, I know... is almost Tuesday!) I grew up in a 3rd-world country in South America and I can tell you I will never ever understand this Black Friday "tradition." I'm not going to tell you I don't like a good deal, but to reach these levels of barbarism is simply tragic. Just shop for deals during Cyber Monday :)
