I am loving my porch this spring. The weather is perfect enough to sit outside sipping on my diet cherry coke or iced herbal tea enjoying a good book. I have to say this is one of my favorite places in my house and it isn't even inside. The porch has evolved a bit since then.
I do a lot of contemplating, thinking, and reading until my eyelids get heavy from relaxation. These moments don't come that often, so I have to soak it up when I can.

ReplyDeleteI love porches too, but most houses have lost them. What a shame. I love the screened in ones I see all around me in Va. Wish I had one currently :).
ReplyDeleteI just cleaned out my office... one of my favorite rooms in the house. I love it because it's in the middle of the house, but has a door. I can see my backyard... and the living room couch... if I have something to work on, I can still watch my kids... :) Porches like that are really nice too...

ReplyDeleteThe weather this past week has been beautiful! I love Spring (the bit of it we get here) because it is not too hot and not too cold. I also like the mint fields. We live in a beautiful part of the world. It's very peaceful. There are some wonderful, quiet outdoor places. I like my home because it is a peaceful place. I enjoy all the common area space and the different rooms for different things. But most of all, I love living in a safe, peaceful, beautiful little corner of this world.
