You go to the snow. Our friends in Idaho City had some compassion on us and invited us up for some sledding. We don't have any of the white stuff ourselves, so we partook of their heavenly white snow. Their idea of sledding is to tow tubes behind the 4 wheelers. I officially became photographer...Nothing spells Christmas like S-N-O-W. And, no I never won a spelling bee...
I love sledding; it seems like just about anyone can join in. When there is enough snow my husband pulls the neighbor kids on their sleds around the neighborhood with the four wheeler. And there are humongous sledding hills near where we live.
ReplyDeleteha. I always make it all about me! Your pictures are great and it looks like you had a wonderful time.
I used to live in Idaho and have never heard of Idaho City. East, West, North or South?
I think we're going to get a big old storm today.
ReplyDeleteI hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas, Lisa!
Fun pictures!! What a great place to sled. My husband was just trying to talk me into a 4-wheeler because he said it was the perfect thing to pull a sled/tube behind. He might have convinced me if we lived anywhere that there was a lot of snow during the year!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been sledding for years!!! I guess I am going to have to break down and take my kids...who have only been on the miniscule hill in my front yard. It's snowing outside right now!!! White Christmas! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! We are hoping for some of the white stuff here before Christmas. Have a very Merry Christmas, Lisa!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun! That's a great way to sled!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you don't have any snow! That's crazy. I can't wait to take my kids sledding when we move to Colorado. =)
