Brad, the Main Course

Remember how I told you I deleted my Brad Paisley tickets?
Thankfully the Idaho Center was able to reissue them otherwise,
these sweet ladies would have gone all loco on me...

Just kidding they probably would have forgiven me.

(Left to right:  Ladybug, ME, J-Thurbs, and Mama Thurbs)

Daddy and Daughter

And Brad himself....Like less than 10 feet away.
I think he was looking at me ;)

There was this crazy 42 year old woman climbing over chairs to try to get closer.
 Oh the Shame!!!
(That may or may not have been me...)

Where the FETCH did my tickets go?

Today I am going to the Brad Paisley concert here in Idaho. Yep, Brad Paisley. Last time I went I was able to go for FREE. I won tickets from the radio station WOW104.3.  Do you like FREE?  Yeah, me too.  Well, this time I charged $350 worth of tickets.  I'm taking Ladybug, KT and going with a couple of friends who have already paid me.  I purchased these floor tickets before Christmas and they were e-mailed to my account.  I decided they were far safer in  my e-mail than printing them out and losing them over all the chaos that is Christmas.

Several weeks ago, I decided to print out those lovely tickets.  And guess what?  They were no where to be found.  I had NO tickets!  Zilch, NADA, disappeared from my e-mail, and I was FREAKING OUT!!!  Luckily, I didn't freak out too long.  I called the Idaho Center who informed me that they keep records of all transactions and they quickly put the tickets in the mail to me.  They were  my favorite people that day, yep...Now I have them in my grubby little hands.

WHAT KIND OF MORON DELETES $350
WORTH OF CONCERT TICKETS?
Ummmm, that would be ME

2busy Chronicles Take 4

I may have mentioned a month ago or so that I won tickets to the Brad Paisley concert. Bragging is more like it...sorry.  On 9/23 KT and I boarded the little Orange Bug for an evening of music and fun.  It was like a mini music festival in and of itself... with three acts outside performing and then later two opening acts then Brad himself.

We saw:

Easton Corban
Steele Magnolia
Josh Turner
Justin Moore

Darius Rucker
and....

wait for it....

Brad Paisley

I think we had a moment ;)

Brad Paisley & Me...It's a Date!

I know what you're thinking...I don't really have a date with him but I do have his concert marked on my calendar (September 23rd, in case you are wondering). You know, I have won some things in the past, but never a radio call in. AND Never concert tickets! I won 3rd row tickets to his concert Friday morning from WOW104.3. They ROCK! (I might add). If I wasn't already married and he wasn't married...We'd be married...I'm just sayin'...And, KT's okay with that because he knows where I'm at every night. I might ogle the guy, but I go home with him...

It's Friday the 13th and I feel lucky! I think I should play the lotto. What do you think?

Belated birthdays, loud music & Body funk

I can't believe I didn't post about this sooner. Time has a way of slipping by or my memory just slipped on by....For Ladybug's 12th birthday she received this little piece of paper that promised fun times nearly three months to the day from her birthday. Poor child having to wait three months more for her actual gift! AND, I got one, too. It was like a present unto myself. I did go through the pain of a c-section. I think I earned a gift, too. Don't you? So, here is the recap...
Carrie Underwood. Floor seats. Not as good as the seats we had for Sugarland, but who can top that? Fun concert, loud music, great singing, needed ear plugs because I am getting THAT old AND someone with the body funk. Too bad I didn't have a nose plug...or some Axe.

Sons of Sylvia
Craig Morgan

And, of course, beautiful Carrie

Sugarland

I had this crazy idea back in April to check and see what kind of tickets were left for the Sugarland concert.  For some strange reason they had blocked off the whole first floor section, but when I checked on that day back in April they had just opened it up.  Out of curiosity, I choose three best available.  When it came back with 5th row I was astounded.  I mean the concert was only two weeks away.  As I sat debating going and the price, I "accidentally" clicked purchase.  Really, it was an accident ;)  I love a country concert.  I just think they are so much fun.  A double ear infection and sinus infection didn't keep me away.  KT, Ladybug and I took off for a little country fun on May 6 even though it was a school night.  You know, Thursday is the new Friday.  Ladybug got a musical treat from Danny Goeke and KT did a little drooling over Julianne Hough.  Don't deny it, dude...I SAW YOU!!  I WAS THERE!!  Either way, we grooved it...Just because I'm over 40 doesn't mean I have to act it...
