I'm just curious, but why is it if you make conversation with a woman you are being friendly, but if you make conversation with a man you are flirting? And, that would go conversely for men...
I enjoy talking to men. But I'm always a little nervous after a few minutes of chatting. Simply because I'm worried that others will think I'm flirting or being inappropriate in some way.
never thought of it! I think it doesn't matter but.... flirting is intent, conversation either with male or female is conversation. Flirting comes with BODY LANGUAGE and people across the room can tell a conversation vs. a FLIRTATION, it really is quite apparent. watch what you do not hear and you will know.
Excellent question.
ReplyDeleteI hope that every time I talk to a man no one thinks I'm flirting! Especially for church!
ReplyDeleteBecause. (that's all I got).

ReplyDeleteI've never even noticed this. What does that tell you? gah. I wonder if men do think I'm flirting? ick.
ReplyDeleteOoo, I'm glad I had my speakers on today! Now I've got some Sugarland stuck in my head..."all I wanna do-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo..."
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question, I have no idea! ;) Hope you're having a great day!
haha, that is a funny thing isn't it. After getting married I learned there is a big difference :)
ReplyDeleteI hate how that is what people think!! Very unfair.
