"Your blog is your unedited version of yourself."
~Lorelle~
Don't I know it! I like to hang my laundry out there for everyone to see. Sometimes I post things I wish I hadn't. You and I both know I can go back and delete, but it's already out there, it's already been read, which is why it is the unedited version of yourself.
Yep! My blog is like my diary. I post some pretty personal things but it feels safe because of the illusion of privacy. There are a lot of things people do and say on the internet that they really shouldn't because of that same reason. Gotta love the human psyche.
ReplyDeleteVery, very true.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely. Though sometimes I wish I could be more like my blog self in real life. Not always, but sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI like seeing the real side of people though...that's why I don't delete, EVER!
ReplyDeleteI agree. I love your blog and I love that it's such a cool representation of you!
ReplyDeleteSo true! I always find posts from a year ago that make me cringe, but some other ones are super funny.
ReplyDeleteI have to be very careful when I blog. I've been bitten a few times by writing something I didn't want everyone to read. I'm learning, but then again, isn't that the whole purpose?
ReplyDeleteMy blog is different. I tend to write my posts and let them sit before I hit publish and then re read them. Me, LIVE and IN PERSON is the unedited, more like RAW version. Sometimes, I say oop words and sometimes i say things that are just off the fly that you need to hear and be in person, in order to get it, you know?
ReplyDeleteyes, I agree. I like to be honest and open too. I think it's fun to read about what REALLY goes on in other homes.
ReplyDeleteSo, about your comment, I've heard of the body bugg. When I was pregnant I really wanted to get one to help me lose the weight fast :) I didn't end up getting one, but I've heard GREAT things about it. That's awesome you've lost 7 lbs already. Good for you!
Did my comment go through?
ReplyDeleteI just post things about our family. So, it's not such a big deal. I think it would be fun to actually throw a blog out there like a journal. But I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings in my extended family and so I don't keep a personal journal. I really do like eveyrone, but sometimes I don't really agree with what they do. And I've been tempted to post about what our crazy exes do, but I've decided that isn't classy or very Christlike. So ... I just write about the family stuff. Pretty tame. It's a nice aspect of life.
ReplyDeletePS(the "unedited" blogs are the most fun to read) :)
