Bloom Where You're Planted
Our theme for the Girl's Camp is "Bloom Where You're Planted". I recently noticed this pansy growing between the cracks of my concrete out front of my house. My mind began to buzz with ideas. This is a spiritual thought and handout I came up with for our girls...

Gorgeous! Did you take that picture? That's a definite photo op.
ReplyDeleteI once snapped a picture of daisies popping up through a cement pad at a gas station. I loved how beauty persevered through man-made ugliness. :)
ReplyDeleteVery good, and pretty too. I'm always inspired by flowers that grow through cracks. It's pretty amazing considering that some flower seeds planted in the best soil won't grow and thrive. I'm sure your girls' camp was wonderful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Would love to have you link this up at our summer-themed, Ladies Only Blog Share! Visiting from the Pity Party!

Great capture!! I love the scripture too. I have a mug with "Bloom where you are planted" written on it, it's a good message for kids and adults alike!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing that fitting sentiment on my blog! :)
ReplyDeleteI am always impressed when a little flower pops up in a "dry" place. Thanks for the pretty photo and scripture!
